Nine years ago while searching the internet for a female, we stumbled on the Mystical Pits website. I came across the picture of a male called “Throwing Knuckles” from the Razor’s Edge bloodline that was being bred to the female called “Kayla Love”. Throwing Knuckles looked impressive. I called the owner and told him that I was looking for a female to start my breeding program and explained to him that I have owned Pit bulls my entire life. We got lucky and got first pick for the female of the litter.

During the following 8 weeks they sent us pictures and videos to keep us updated on the litter’s progress and to help us select the right puppy. Well the

one we chose came to us straight from Miami.

I remember being scared because I never heard of dogs being shipped by airplane. She arrived here safe and sound and we named her Siren. From the moment I got her I began doing some research on Siren’s pedigree which led me to a breeder named Dave Wilson, owner of the famous Razors Edge Kennel. The following 2 months I kept in touch with him by contacting him at least once a week inquiring about future breeding and their pedigrees.

One day our phone rang and it was Dave inviting us to check out his yard. I must say that we were absolutely star struck by what we saw. There was Lil Ro and Denile at 9 months of age, Shamoo, Blue Berry, Southis, Viagra, Paddington and Rage. That day we just couldn’t get enough! We were dirty from letting all the dogs jump all over us. The females looked just as fierce as the males and the males looked like nothing I’ve ever seen. That day we decided that Lil Ro was going to be the stud for Siren in order to produce our own future stud. I must say that it was my wife who insisted she wanted to take him home and that’s all we talked about with our friends and family.

Eight months following our initial visit, we went back to RE to do the breeding. This time there were a few new dogs. There was P-Diddy who was 10 months old but you could get near him unless you wanted to get tackled and covered with mud. But of course we did and got tackled and covered with mud. Then there was the freakiest big headed pup I had ever seen. He was four months old and his name was Mr. Bo-Jangles.

That being said, Siren stayed at RE for a week and we got a new dog “One Tie” on the day we picked her up. 63 days later, the rest was history in the making. Titan, Julias, Luke, Destiny, Aimi, Blue Berry and Rougue were born. We kept Titan and Aimie. After whelping that litter, we decided we needed another female. So I called Dave to see what he had. He told me he had three females left out of the Yeyo and Pequiness breeding and that it was an AKC breeding. I researched the pedigrees. At the time I knew of ShortShot but I didn’t know how big he was going to be. These pups were of a ShortShot son bred to a female off of ShortShots littermate sister. We decided to buy this pup that had a funny looking ear that stood straight up. I remember getting to Dave’s house and saying to me that these pups don’t look like what I’ve seen before and they didn’t have much of a bully look. What I didn’t know at the time was that I purchased a future legend.

The two females were the only pups we had plans on purchasing in order to produce our own and take it from there. I talked to Dave Wilson and emailed him for about another year or so. I even became an Elite Edge member for a few years. The plan was to match up Siren and Suga to some of the hottest studs that possessed the traits we were looking for. The studs we selected for them were LIL Ro, Bo-Jangles, Baloo, BuckShot, Mo-Towns Savage, and Smokey. Our goal with every breeding was to keep one pup because we knew the future lied in our offspring.  With the Razors Edge blood combined with other bloodlines such as Tonkawa, Gaff, Edelhause and Grey Line, The Titan line was finally created.
